I was right last night, I did wind up having a Clementine before we left to go out.

I stuck to drinking just water last night. It was a really fun night though, I do really have an amazing group of friends. Here’s a pictures one of our friends took of Andrew and I last night. Clearly I wasn’t impressed with whatever Andrew was saying.

After getting home from the bar last night I was on the computer reading some blogs, when the computer screen shut off and then came back all funky. Andrew described it as looking like the pattern on a flannel shirt. After trying a new monitor from my dad we discovered it wasn’t the monitor it was the video card. My dad should be stopping by to fix it tomorrow. Luckily if there’s one thing we have a lot of in the apartment it’s computers, in addition to our desktop, I have a work laptop, and Andrew has a laptop. I’m on his laptop now and after struggling with trying to get my pictures loaded I’m finally ready to post today’s eats so far.
This morning I drove Andrew to work (one of his tires has a slow leak and needs to be fixed, it’s currently in his parents driveway) then I went to my parents house to visit again. We got a late start to the morning but I packed up my breakfast to eat at my parents house.

Another clementine, peach Chobani (my favorite!) and a little less then 1/2 of the chocolate brownie cliff bar. Delicious breakfast! Peach, vanilla, and plain are the only flavored Chobani, I can find around here, but luckily I like all 3.
After breakfast I had to go to my chiropractor appointment. I was in a car accident back in July, and have been going ever since. A woman ran a red light and hit my car, it spun my car around 180 degrees. Luckily we were both okay, but unfortunately I’ve had neck and back problems ever since. I’m feeling much better now (after over 65 visits to the chiropractor) but I still have to go twice a week. He referred me to get acupuncture, and I made an appointment for Monday evening.
Does anyone have any experience with acupuncture? I know it will be fine but I’m still really nervous.
After that I picked up Andrew from work and we came home for lunch. I decided to have some left over chili from last night. I added some more spices today and I think it came out a lot better. I have a few ideas for the next time we make it. On the side for some crunch I had a romaine lettuce salad with lite Caesar dressing.

Same as yesterday just not over the noodles.

Yum. I love romaine lettuce it’s definitely my favorite base for a salad.
Andrew and I just decided what we are going to have for dinner, and I’m excited. Hope you’re enjoying your Saturday!

The rest of the morning after blogging, was spent cleaning up in spurts. I can’t tell you how much there is to clean after a dinner for 8 people. It was worth it though, definitely a good time.
After cleaning it was off to the outlets. These new outlets are right across the street from where I work, but I’ve avoided it until now. There’s like 120 stores and most of them are things I can’t afford. We stuck to just going to the Ugg store and that was enough. I would up getting a new pair of boots but that’s all, I plan to buy other ones online sometime soon though. I forgot to get a picture of them but I will post one either later tonight or tomorrow morning.
While we were at the outlets we both decided to stop in at the food court and get something to eat there was a salad place I never heard of before called Green Leaf’s. I can’t find a link online anywhere for them so I’m not sure if it’s a chain. You pick what kind of lettuce you want, then 4 toppings, and your dressing. I ordered a small and it was really too much food.

This picture really doesn’t do the size justice. I picked romaine lettuce, with grilled chicken, cucumbers, onions, and cheese. I wish I hadn’t asked for the cheese because they put sooooo much in it! For the dressing I got the light balsamic. I ate almost the entire thing except for the cheese, and Andrew ate the last few pieces of chicken.
This was a first for me, taking a picture of my food out in public. At first I was trying to be sly about it, but then after a couple seconds I was fine. Was it hard for all of you food bloggers to get used to taking pictures in public places?
Here’s Andrew enjoying his meal from Nathans. I did sneak a bite of one of his french fries though.

It was snowing so we decided to just end our day of shopping there and head home. We did some more cleaning and, threw some stuff into the crockpot for our dinner. Gotta love the crockpot. Since dinner was under control we went to visit my parents. On the way Andrew drove so I could enjoy my first Apple Pie Larabar:

To be honest I didn’t really like it to much. The first bite I was disappointed, it just lacked in flavor. After a couple more bites I started to enjoy it a little bit, but it’s not something I’ll buy again. We only stayed at my parents for about an hour, then headed back home.
I swear as I was unlocking the front door I could smell our dinner. Here’s what it was:

It was our version of a Chicken Chili. It included:
- A can of fire roasted tomatoes
- chicken broth, about 1/2 a cup
- a green pepper
- paprika
- chili powder
- minced garlic
- onion powder
- salt and pepper
- 4 thin sliced chicken breasts
We had this over the remaining ww egg noodles from last night.

I added about 1/2 a cup of a mexican cheese blend. I would guess I had a little less then a serving of ww noodles and probably a whole chicken breast on top.
On the side we also had a sweet potato cut up into chips and roasted with olive oil and sea salt.

We have plenty of leftovers of the chili so you’ll probably be seeing some more during the week.
I have to say Andrew is being really supportive of the blog, and eating healthier. He actually tried (and liked!) the sweet potato.
I’m off to get ready to go out for my best friends 24th birthday! I’ll probably have a Clementine and some pomegranate before we go. Have a great Friday night!!!!
