Sunday Night Blues

What a terrible game the Giants played today! Oh well they won’t be in the Superbowl this year, but there’s always next year!
We were able to get a new Keurig today! Thank goodness, I don’t know I could make it through the day without a cup of coffee in the morning.
While I watched the game at my parents house I had one of these:
Has anyone ever had one of these before? It’s so good, tastes like real apple cider. And since I’m allergic to beer it’s a very good option for me. The giants are on the tv in the background, probably screwing something up.
I also ate one of these:
Yum yum yum.
My parents put out chips and dip while the game was on and I had 2 chips with a little dip, no picture sorry. But then I found pretzels and had some of those with a small amount of dip as well.
After the game Andrew and I headed out to a nice local restaurant called Harborside Bar and Grill.
First we got rolls, I had one roll ripped into 4 pieces so I would take my time eating it.
The roll looks huge in the picutre but it was a normal dinner roll size.
With my entree order I got a house salad I ordered it with Balsamic Vinaigrette on the side.
The salad was just okay nothing special, but the dressing was really good.
For dinner I ordered the Rigatoni Pomadora:
It was a lot of food, I only ate about 1/2 and brought the rest home to eat tomorrow.
Andrew got the Blackened Sirloin and Monterrey Jack quesidilla:
I took a bite and it was really good, I also stole like 3 or 4 of his fries.
It was a really nice dinner, our anniversary is actually tomorrow but he has work until 9 so we celebrated today. It was a really nice dinner, and a good weekend all together.
Does anyone else get the Sunday Night Blues? I hate thinking about the full work week looming ahead. It’s time for me to get all my stuff ready for tomorrow. Hope you’re enjoying your Sunday night.

Great job making the cut on your restaurant dinner! And that means less food prep on today’s agenda :-). And yes, I get Sunday night blues in a big way!

I’ve never had that particular beer before, but when I went to ireland Magners, a hard apple cide beer, was really popular. Unfortuntely it was not my cup of tea.

that cider beer looks really delicious. I am not a fan of sweet alcohol drinks but i do love hard cider. Andrews quesdilla looks soooo good. its awesome that you didn’t munch down on a bunch of chips and dip. if it was me I probably would’ve gone to town on the chips.
