Getting back in the groove

Wow have I been a bad blogger lately? So many things have been changing for me my schedule is a little busier and I’m trying to get used to everything. I’ve set up some mini goals for the week and blogging more often and with more quality posts is right at the top of the list.
Last nights dinner was awesome. I had a grilled piece of chicken with Montreal chicken seasoning on it. The chicken was so flavorful. I also had a side of sweet potato chips and roasted asparagus.
Last night Andrew and I just stayed home and went to bed early again. We’re like an old married couple. I had a sinus head ache again, and didn’t feel like going out.
This morning when I woke up I had no idea what I wanted for breakfast. But the smell of bacon from the people under us wafted into our apartment and I decided to once again have 3 pieces of turkey bacon and an egg sandwich.
I always cut the bacon package in 1/2 and throw one half in the freezer and the other one in the fridge, it means less food waste if we don’t get to it before it goes bad, and I can have 6 1/2 slices for a serving size of 3 instead of 3 big pieces, definitely makes it feel like I’m eating more. I put 3 1/2’s on my sandwich and ate the other 3 on the side.
Andrew’s at work until 2 so once he gets out we’re going to head to the gym. My parents invited us over for dinner and they are having pot roast I might make myself a big salad and eat a small portion of the pot roast I’m not exactly sure how healthy it is.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

look at those grill marks! what exactly is montreal chicken seasoning?
glad to see there’s no food waste going on in your house — excellent job utilizing the freezer 🙂
fyi, pot roast should be decently healthy … but filling up on a big salad and using the roast more for flavor accenting is always a winning strategy in my book!

Is that the Montreal steak seasoning? I love that! I buy it at Sam’s club for like $3 for a huge jar!
Happy Sunday!
