One More Day

I’m so happy tomorrow is Friday! I’m sure most of you agree. I can’t believe there’s only 2 more days of February left, where did this month go? A week from Saturday we set the clocks ahead which means an extra hour of daylight in the evening, which I am so ready for! Spring is just around the corner and the idea of that has me smiling from ear to ear.
I’ve had a hard time getting to sleep lately, I don’t know if I have more energy then I used to from the routine exercising but I used to be able to lay down and within a few minutes be fast asleep. I’ve had more trouble lately so I want to try to get into bed a little earlier for the next few weeks in the hope I’ll be able to fall asleep earlier too. We’ll see how that goes, but in order to do that I need to blog quickly tonight and get right into bed.
This morning I had overnight oats with 1/2 a cup oats, 1/2 a cup skim milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. This morning I added dried cranberries and pb of course.
I still can’t believe how long oats will keep me satisfied. I used to snack between breakfast and lunch now I can easily hold out for lunch time.
For lunch today I had leftover cavatelli that Andrew had made for his dinner last night.
I ate this cold, I’m a big fan of cold pasta.
On the side I also had 3 mini sweet peppers.
Even though the package says “sweet” the red were kinda spicey, but they were still really really tasty. I got a huge bag of these from Costco so except to see these a lot in the next week.
Around 3 I got hungry and had a banana with pb sandwiched in the middle. The department vp came over to talk to me while I was snacking on this so I didn’t get a picture, here’s an old one I took the last time I had this snack though.
For dinner tonight I didn’t know what I wanted. So I just had a few different things that sounded good. I had a toasted ww bagel with light butter, a string cheese, and a romaine lettuce salad with light caesar dressing.
This was a weird but good dinner, it satisfied a few different cravings I was having so it hit the spot for me.
Well as I said I’m going to get into bed early tonight so I’m going to end the post here. Hope you all have a great night, and that tomorrow goes by quickly. Anyone have any fun plans for the weekend?

I have nights like that a lot where nothing seems to sound like it will hit the spot. I think you found some good eats, Bagels are a total comfort food for me!

mmm!! Good choice w/ the dried cranberries-I am always amazed at how nothing fills me like oats! Like I could eat bowl upon bowl of cereal…no really. And yet when I have oats I’m satisfied w/ just one for hours!

If I didn’t need to gain weight, I could totally skip my morning snack too, Oatmeal just keeps me so full!
I don’t know why but that plain bagel looks AMAZING right now!

I am a huge cold pasta fan- don’t leftovers taste so much better than first time around? (or is that just me? 😛 )
I move into my new apartment Monday so my weekend is all about hitting up IKEA for throws and pillows, and packing!
