Too Busy!

I can’t believe it’s Sunday night already.  I also can’t believe I haven’t blogged since Friday morning.  This weekend flew right by!  I’m so ready to just go to bed because I’m so exhausted from all the things we’ve done.  I’m going to do this post as quickly as possible since I have a lot of days to catch up on!

Friday morning after posting I had a clif bar on my way out the door to go to the mall with my mom.

After the mall we went out to lunch with my mom’s friend.  I got a grilled chicken and broccoli rabe sub.

I also ate about 6 fries from the ones you see in the background.

After lunch I ran to the bank and then right to my friend Jessica’s house where we loaded up my car and hers and headed to her new apartment.  My exercise for the day was going up and down and up and down the 3 flights of stairs to her apartment.  Once we were done  a few hours later I came back to my apartment and had showered, then headed to my parents house to have dinner with them and my Aunt Susie who was here to visit for the night.  We had pizza.

After that we went shopping with some gift cards I had for some clothes for the summer and a gift for Jessica.  Then we headed back to Jessica’s to hang out in her new apartment!  I absolutely love it!  I love that she lives so close.

Saturday morning we woke up early and got ready for the communion on the way we stopped for breakfast sandwiches.

Bacon and egg on a whole grain bagel.

We made the 2 hour trip to upstate NY for my cousin Kamryn’s First Communion and the party was at an Italian restaurant.

My plate included salad, eggplant parm, 3/4 of a meatball and some penne a la vodka.

After the party we went back to my Aunt and Uncle’s house where we spent the rest of the day.  On our way home that night we stopped at a diner, where I had a grilled chicken sandwich and steamed veggies.

Finally we got home after 11 and I crawled right into bed and fell fast asleep.  Only to wake up this morning early, to get ready for my cousin’s Bridal Shower.  There was very little drama, I never even acknowledged the 2 family members I have problems with, and besides my cousin slamming a door on me while I was carrying a tray of food out the day was without incident on my side.  Not saying there wasn’t any drama, there just wasn’t any that included me.

I had a plate of veggies and salad first and a slice of Italian bread.

Then for the main part of lunch I had some kind of pasta dish, some couscous, and about 5 sausages, peppers and onions.  This food was no where near as good as yesterdays!

Once I arrived home from the party this afternoon I was hungry so I had a 100 calorie pack of popcorn.

And then I had some pb on an English Muffin.

Then we headed back to my friend Jessica’s apartment to hang out with her and her boyfriend Rob, and her little brother Robert.  I had a hot dog while I was there.  But have no pictures to show, I forgot my camera at home.

I definitely feel like I indulged a little too much this weekend and I’m ready for my normal cleaner eating to begin again tomorrow.

I hope you all had a great weekend and I’ll be catching up with all of you tomorrow!  Enjoy the rest of your Sunday night!

Sometimes, weekends like that are just what we need to realize how much better we (or at least I) feel when I eat better!! That pizza though, looks stellar!

I’m glad the drama was minimal.

Penne a la Vodka is probably my favorite pasta dish in the whole world. Yum!!

your pics are fabulous! Its okay to indulge a bit much on the weekends 🙂 Clean eating is for the week days in my book 😉 hee hee!! Have a great week.

you were nonstop all weekend!! i’m glad to hear that the drama was mostly ignorable (though a little drama here and there makes a good story later). as usual, no matter what you eat, my favorite thing is always your pb sandwiches. and for some reason, your pb sandwiches always make me crave them way more than anyone else’s! do you sprinkle magic dust on them?

The story of my life is clean eating in the week and then a little indulging here and there on the weekends! All those eats looks sooo delish so it’s totally justifiable 🙂
